Marshall Goldman Under New Ownership; Once Again, A Family Business

PR Newswire

Plans for Marshall Goldman include new locations, a brand refresh and recommitment to excellence in service, inventory and remaining best-in-class among enthusiasts and collectors alike.

CLEVELAND, Aug. 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Marshall Goldman, the leading dealer and buyer of pre-owned collectible, exotic and luxury automobiles in North America since 1978, is under new ownership and once again, a family-run business. Brothers and Cleveland natives, Harley and Aaron Magden, who founded Window Nation and most recently, luxury car dealership Magden Motors in Maryland, have acquired Marshall Goldman from private equity in late spring. The son of the original founder, Harlan Goldman, who has been with the company since its inception, is remaining on as part owner and an integral part of the business.

Originally founded in Cleveland in 1978 by Marshall Goldman, the dealership has grown to include showrooms in Beverly Hills and Newport Beach, California, with plans to convert Magden Motors outside Baltimore to the Marshall Goldman brand as well as future plans for additional locations in key markets.

"My brother and I grew up like so many other boys around the country, obsessing over fast cars, playing with Matchbox, learning the ins and outs thanks to our dad and hanging posters on our wall of the fancy cars we dreamed about," said Harley Magden. "Like Harlan, cars were our dad's passion too, and so it became ours. He is gone now, but that obsession, enthusiasm and curiosity has just grown through the years. So when the opportunity to acquire this powerhouse of a brand presented itself and make this business truly a family business once again, well – it was a childhood dream come true."

The new ownership recently refreshed the brand, including its logo and website. The Cleveland showroom has also been remodeled. What will not change is the dealership's commitment to finding the rarest of cars for its clientele, which spans the globe. From brands like Bentley, Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce and Bugatti among others. The company also has a dedicated site to buying cars, iBuyLC.com.

Marshall Goldman has built an impeccable reputation for its meticulously curated inventory of low-mileage, high specification vehicles that appeal to collectors and everyday drivers alike. Beyond sales, the company provides services like collection consulting and nationwide delivery, ensuring that clients have access to whatever they need, regardless of location.

"Marshall Goldman expertly connects rare, exotic and luxury automobiles to their rightful owners," said Goldman. "My dad started as a small retailer and was driven by building relationships with people built on honesty and integrity. His handshake was his bond and he never wavered in that belief, even as we grew. This is his legacy and we are going to continue to build upon the foundation he started and make it even better for the next six decades and beyond."
